Letter to the Voter

Hello, California’s 79th Assembly District,

     I’m Andrew Lawson, a dedicated advocate for education, family values, and our military. I am running to represent you in the California Assembly with integrity and a commitment to our community’s future. With a Master’s degree in Education and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting, I understand the power of quality education and the necessity of fiscal responsibility to strengthen our district. My diverse career—leading teams as a fast food manager, ensuring efficiency in a grocery store, protecting communities in private security, and inspiring students as a substitute teacher—has equipped me with the skills to listen, solve problems, and deliver results for our neighborhoods.

     As the proud son of a Navy veteran, I carry a deep respect for the sacrifices of our service members and their families, and I’m committed to advocating for policies that honor their legacy and support veterans across California. Rooted in strong family values, I champion the importance of two-parent households and fiercely defend parents’ rights to raise their children according to their beliefs. My vision for the 79th District is a thriving community where every child has access to excellent schools, families are empowered, and our economy is strong and sustainable.
