Every child in District 79 deserves access to a quality education. Andrew supports empowering parents with school choice, raising academic standards, ensuring transparency in curricula, and directing funding to classrooms instead of administrative overhead. Education policy should serve students and families, not unions and bureaucrats.
The reality is that California doesn’t have an education funding problem nearly as much as it has a student achievement problem. The state’s own assessment data show that fewer than half of students meet English Language Arts standards and only about one-third meet mathematics standards.
